Valley Youth House - Greater Philadelphia
has helped over 2,500 young adults to succeed in their transition from adolescence to adulthood in the past six years. Our dedicated staff members assist homeless youth to find apartments, sign leases and develop self-sufficiency skills to maintain permanent housing on their own. Over 400 young adults moved into their own apartments since the residential programs started in 2005. Additionally, the Achieving Independence Center, which is managed by Valley Youth House, provides independent living services to approximately 1400 young people each year.
- Creating unique programming that meets the needs of young people,
- Developing an alumni group and managing a Youth Advisory Board to gain valuable customer feedback,
- Partnered with multiple agencies, systems and businesses in an effort to maximize our resources, and
- Dedicating ourselves to excellence.
